Attendance and Class Charts

Parents/ carers can use Class Charts to monitor attendance and punctuality to lessons. If your son/ daughter does not arrive to their lesson on time, they will be marked as an L (Late). If a student has still not arrived after 10 minutes, they will then be marked as N (Not Attended) and the teacher will activate the ‘Missing Student’ button – This means that the Student Support Officers will look for them around the school and escort them to lessons. Sanctions (usually detentions) are put in place if students are not on time to lessons with no valid reason.

Please do discuss the importance of being on time and in lessons with your son/ daughter, if they have the marks above on their attendance register – Every minute counts.
